200T/24H WHEAT MILL PLANT
The 200T/24H wheat flour milling plant is designed to deliver high efficiency and consistent flour quality. The process begins with thorough cleaning and impurity removal, ensuring only high-quality wheat enters the milling system. The wheat is then conditioned and tempered to achieve optimal moisture content for roller milling.
Advanced roller mills grind the wheat into fine flour, while plansifters and purifiers separate and classify different flour grades with precision. The system includes bran and germ removal sections to improve extraction rates and product consistency. Automated controls monitor every stage, maintaining stable operation, reducing energy consumption, and ensuring minimal downtime.
The final output includes high-quality wheat flour suitable for bread, pastry, and noodle production, meeting both local and international quality standards. The plant’s modular design allows customization according to client requirements, ensuring efficient production for both small and medium-scale milling enterprises.
Cleaning Section Overview
The cleaning section of the wheat flour milling process is designed to remove impurities and prepare the grain for efficient milling. It is divided into first cleaning and second cleaning stages, each with specialized equipment to ensure high-quality, hygienic flour production.
First Cleaning:
Wheat first passes through a High-Efficiency Vibrating Sieve, which removes coarse impurities such as straw, husks, oversized grains, and stones. The sieve features multi-deck screens and adjustable stroke and frequency for optimized throughput. A Gravity Destoner follows, eliminating heavy contaminants like stones, glass, and dense impurities based on differential density. The Horizontal Scourer (first pass) applies gentle friction and airflow to strip dust, dirt, sand, and adhered husk particles from the kernel surfaces, improving hygiene and reducing milling abrasion. An Online Scale continuously measures and controls the wheat feed to maintain consistent mass flow to downstream systems. Finally, Dampers or Moisture Bins condition the grain to around 14–15% moisture, enhancing kernel toughness and stability during milling.
Second Cleaning:
After conditioning, the wheat undergoes a second pass through the Destoner to remove any remaining heavy impurities. A Horizontal Scourer (second pass) further cleans the kernel surfaces, removing softened chaff or residual contaminants. The final step in cleaning is the Plane Rotary Sifter, which grades kernels by size, separating plump flour-ready grains from smaller fractions or fine semolina, ensuring uniform particle distribution for the milling process.
This multi-stage cleaning process guarantees that only high-quality, contaminant-free wheat enters the milling section, optimizing flour extraction, quality, and consistency.
Milling Section Overview
The milling section converts cleaned wheat into high-quality flour and packaged products through a high-efficiency, stepwise process. It integrates advanced grinding, sifting, purification, and packaging technologies to ensure optimal extraction, consistent quality, and minimal losses.
Pneumatic Roller Mills
These primary grinding units combine forced-air pneumatic recirculation with pairs of corrugated rollers to grind wheat while preserving endosperm integrity and minimizing impurity load. Their modular design allows easy adjustment and maintenance, making them ideal for high-capacity milling lines.
Plansifters
Multi-deck plan sifters classify milled streams by particle size. They remove coarse particles, separate flour from semolina, and direct each fraction to the appropriate downstream feed for further reduction or purging, ensuring uniform flour quality.
Purifiers
Placed after early reduction stages, purifiers use airflows and oscillating sieve decks to separate bran particles clinging to middlings from clean endosperm. This step is essential for producing low-ash, fine flour and maximizing extraction yield.
Bran Finishers
High-speed rotary sifters, or bran finishers, scrub any remaining flour attached to bran fragments. By polishing the bran and recovering residual flour, these units improve overall extraction rates and reduce material losses.
Packing Machines
The finished flour is automatically weighed, sealed, and packed using fully automatic packaging units. These machines accommodate various bag sizes (e.g., 25 kg, 50 kg) and are integrated into the plant layout to ensure smooth material flow, precise compaction, and efficient handling.
This comprehensive milling section guarantees consistent flour quality, high operational efficiency, and maximum profitability for medium to large-scale wheat flour production.
