New Opportunities, Greater Responsibility for Africa's Grain Processing Industry

On July 9, 2026, Hongdefa Machinery was honored to participate in the China–Namibia Trade and Investment Conference held in Beijing.

The conference was attended by H.E. Dr. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, President of the Republic of Namibia, together with senior government officials including the Minister of Agriculture, the Minister of Industries, Mines and Energy, and other cabinet members. Chinese enterprises and investors from different industries also gathered to discuss future cooperation between China and Namibia.

For Hongdefa, this was not only an opportunity to understand Namibia's future development plans, but also a valuable chance to communicate directly with government representatives and explore new possibilities for agricultural processing cooperation.

Agriculture Remains a Key Area for Cooperation

During the conference, President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah emphasized that the forum is more than a business event—it is a platform to transform the long-standing friendship between China and Namibia into practical economic cooperation that creates jobs, attracts investment, transfers technology, and improves people's livelihoods.

Namibian ministers also highlighted that agriculture, energy, and investment will remain priority sectors for future cooperation.
